Hi, I’m Lindsay.
ABOUT THE BLOG
Well Aware was created in 2014 as a way to document my education and trials and errors and eventual transition into a more “mindful life.” At the time, I was working in advertising and experiencing what many of us feel around our first Saturn Returns—a restlessness, anxiousness, and unease that comes from the dissonance of not knowing myself, coupled with not knowing how to meet myself. I’d lost my practice and it wasn’t the first time, nor would it be the last.
If you’d asked me four years ago why I started Well Aware, I would have said it was because there were few of us creators else exploring the connection between wellness and conscious consumption. This is as true as the sky is blue, but I was also beginning to understand how people with a regular practice met themselves again and again and again.
Through deep and meaningful conversations on the podcast that have lead to countless exchanges online and in real life, Well Aware has become a strong community: my hope is that we’ll continue to swap stories and share experiences about our journeys, offer each other support, and bear witness to the collective and individual growth that occurs with practice and presence.
